Weeton Show is a family friendly event with classes ranging from lead rein to working hunter and heavy horses.  For those new to showing through to those more experienced, there are over 30 in hand and ridden classes there is something for every equestrian.  Judging starts at 8.30am.  
Clear round jumping will also be available.
Weeton Show isn't just about ponies there's plenty for the non-horsey family members too.

At the 2024 Weeton Show there are 35 horticulture classes this year so NO EXCUSES everyone will have something growing in their garden that could be a prize winner!

A rose, hanging basket, lovely lettuce or bowl of delicious strawberries. 

It doesn’t have to be the biggest marrow as it’s the quality, uniformity of the stripes and lack of holes that count!

Weeton Show has a wide range of competitive classes to practise and show off your skills – Cookery, Handwriting, Handmade Items and Painting to name but a few. This year there’s also an opportunity to "Design a Promotional Poster for Next Year’s Show!" 

If you are new to competing, have a look at our top tips for entrants - and on Show Day don’t forget to put your age on the back of your entries wherever possible. We also have additional classes to enter on show day including Dog Handling and Fancy Dress classes.

The 2024 Weeton Show offers the usual wide range of both adult and children’s classes for people to enter, including cookery, photography, art and crafts, handwriting and flower-arranging. There’s something for everyone, both young and old!

Sheep are a traditional part of every rural show and Weeton Show provides an excellent opportunity to show your sheep with over 30 classes catering for a wide range of breeds. From young handlers learning the skills of showing to seasoned breeders/show people, there is a class for everyone.

From complete beginners to seasoned athletes this is a race for everyone; starting and finishing in the main show ring this race takes in the beautiful Wharfedale countryside around the Showground.
